Case Study - SHODA
From Indonesia to the World with Digital Export Ecosystem
Shoda approached Techtonic.id to design and deliver a complete digital ecosystem that could simplify global trade operations. The key challenge was to create a platform that allowed seamless buying and selling while maintaining Shoda’s role as an intermediary—abstracting both buyers and sellers to prevent bypassing. Additionally, the system needed to support complex export logistics such as minimum order quantities (MoQs), sample requests, and freight-based shipping methods.

Shoda, a trading company based in Semarang, Indonesia, acts as a collective exporter connecting Indonesian micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with buyers across the Middle East, including Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Kurdistan, and the UAE. For the first 4–5 years, the business ran profitably but relied heavily on manual processes. By 2024, Shoda was ready to scale and needed a reliable, technology-driven system to streamline operations, reduce errors, and support international expansion.
